Overview
JOR Fine Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that showcases a wide range of artists, exhibitions, and curated art events. The gallery required a complete website that could professionally represent its artistic identity while remaining easy for visitors to explore and simple for the owner to manage.
The objective of this project was to design and develop the JOR Fine Art Gallery website from scratch. The website needed to highlight artists and exhibitions clearly, present artworks in a visually refined manner, and deliver a smooth browsing experience across all devices like laptop, mobile, iPad and Tablet.
Key Challenges & Our Strategic Solutions
One of the main challenges was managing a large number of high-resolution artwork images. These images made the pages heavy and affected loading speed. At the same time, it was essential to preserve image quality, maintain a clean gallery-style layout, and ensure the website remained responsive and easy to update.
We designed and developed the website using WordPress, focusing on performance, clarity, and visual balance. All high-resolution images were carefully compressed and optimized without compromising their quality. Each image was properly resized and fitted to the layout so that pages load faster while maintaining sharpness and detail. The overall structure was planned to allow artworks to stand out while keeping navigation simple and intuitive.
